George Gilder
George Gilder is Chairman of Gilder Publishing LCC, which produces the Gilder Technology Report and the annual Gilder/Forbes Telecosm Conference, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He is also Senior Fellow at Discovery Institute where he directs Discovery’s program on high technology and public policy. Mr. Gilder graduated from Harvard University in 1962 and has since then written several books including Men and Marriage (1972), Visible Man (1978), Wealth and Poverty (1981), The Spirit of Enterprise (1986), Microcosm (1989), Telecosm (2000), and The Silicon Eye (2005). Mr. Gilder is a contributing editor of Forbes magazine and a frequent writer for The Economist, The American Spectator, the Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and other publications. In 1986 he received the White House Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence and was made a Fellow of the International Engineering Consortium.
