Robert George

Dr. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He received his D.Phil at Oxford University; JD at Harvard University; and AB at Swarthmore College. Dr. George is the author of In Defense of Natural Law, Making Men Moral: Civil Liberties and Public Morality, and The Clash of Orthodoxies: Law, Religion and Morality in Crisis. He was Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States, where he received the Justice Tom C. Clark Award. Dr. George specializes on constitutional law, philosophy of law, and political philosophy.
